Nūr
Inspired by the spiritual atmosphere of the Arabian desert, NŪR reinterprets the ancestral concept of a contemporary oasis. Monolithic volumes, mineral surfaces, and large glazed openings dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors, transforming the landscape into an integral part of the living experience. Infinity pools, reflecting pools, and selective vegetation create protected microclimates that contrast with the surrounding arid immensity.
Light becomes the true material of the project. A large geometric roof inspired by traditional mashrabiya filters the desert sun, generating shifting shadows and cinematic atmospheres throughout the day. Each space is designed to amplify the perception of time, silence, and infinity. More than a residence, NŪR is a contemporary sanctuary designed to inhabit the desert in balance with the landscape, transforming light, matter, and nature into a single sensory experience.
